Protect your oral health
Your oral health plays an essential part in your overall well-being. We all know that maintaining healthy teeth and gums is a lifelong job, which is why it’s important to attend regular check-ups. Catching issues such as gum disease early on can also prevent costly treatments further down the line, so it pays to be proactive when it comes to your dental health.
The same is true for your children. The earlier they learn proper oral habits, the better. At Dental at Kanwal, we accept children under the new Child Dental Benefits Schedule. Find out more about the scheme below.

Have gaps in your teeth left you struggling to eat or speak? Dentures, which are removable false teeth that fit snugly over your gums, could be the ideal solution.
Feeling self-conscious about your missing teeth? Dental implants are long-term solutions which are placed directly into your jawbone to provide an artificial replacement for the root of your missing tooth/teeth.
Want a brighter smile? Teeth whitening will improve and whiten your teeth, enhancing your appearance and helping to kill bacteria which may cause tooth decay or gum disease.
While regular brushing and flossing will help maintain your oral health—a clean, scale and polish by our dentist can help to spot and eliminate signs of gum disease. We can also demonstrate some techniques you can use at home.

A new government initiative, the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, covers part or the full cost of some dental services for children aged 2-17 years. For your child to be eligible, you must receive Medicare and be getting at least one payment a year from the Australian government.
Upon making an appointment, please let our reception staff know you wish to make use of the scheme. We will require your Medicare number along with your child’s date of birth. Your child’s first appointment will be with a hygienist, who will help you complete all the necessary documentation and explain how the scheme works. A full written treatment plan will then be given to you so you’re aware of our recommendations.
